Hello! My name is Mrs. Vanderpool.

I am an ESOL teacher at Spring Creek Elementary. This is my 10th year teaching in Hamilton County. I have spent the past 8 years teaching at Daisy Elementary in grades first, second, and third. This is my 2nd year teaching at Spring Creek as an ESOL teacher.  I work with ESOL students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I really enjoy working with students who are new to the United States.


I am origninally from Fayetteville, Georgia.  I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism.  Go Vols!!  I received my Masters in Education from The College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio.  I am married and a mom to two girls, ages 5 and 2.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends!
